Tracy Angel TagsFinished buying and wrapping my “Angel gifts” today. Big smile thinking about the children I’ll never meet.  I took two tags from church and George Spencer is organizing an effort in the NBC10 newsroom to help children living with their moms in a local shelter.  I shopped with such joy and great care, getting suggestions from others on IG from others about what to get for a girl, aged 8-10.  The 5 year old girl likes Frozen, so of course her packages are wrapped with Elsa wrapping paper.  I know the Christmas season often comes with chaos and commercialism, and it’s really not about the presents with bows. But I hope these with these presents, the children receive the gifts of love and compassion, knowing others care.  And I hope a bright Christmas gives them hope that better days are ahead and there is love in the world.
